Frictify

Friction before the feed.

You open Instagram to reply to one message and surface twenty minutes later. Frictify steps in at the moment you open an app you have chosen — and asks what you came for, and how long you want.

When the time is up, it tells you. You can always continue. That is the point: friction, not blocking. The goal is to make the scroll a decision instead of a reflex.

How it works

Your data stays on your phone

Frictify has no accounts and no servers. Your intentions, sessions, and usage history are stored only on your device and are never uploaded. It cannot read your screen, cannot see what you type, and cannot list the apps you have installed. The only thing that leaves your phone is an anonymous crash report when something breaks.
